Morning Preparations at Solar do Magoito
Sydney and Noah began their day at Solar do Magoito, a stunning private villa.
Inside the villa, the talented team at B-lust handled the bridal hair and makeup, creating soft, natural looks that suited the elegant style of the wedding. Surrounded by close family, the morning felt peaceful and meaningful — a perfect start to a destination wedding day.

A Magical Ceremony at Monserrate Palace & Gardens in Sintra
Sydney and Noah travelled to Monserrate Palace, one of the most iconic wedding venues in Sintra, for their ceremony. Monserrate is known for its exotic botanical gardens and breathtaking architecture, blending Gothic Revival, Moorish, and Indian influences. Built in the 19th century and surrounded by lush forest, it’s a dream location for couples planning a wedding in Sintra.
Their ceremony took place in the ruins of the old chapel — one of the most romantic and atmospheric spots on the estate. Their families stood in a semi-circle, creating an intimate, inclusive space that made the moment feel personal and heartfelt.
The ceremony was beautifully officiated by Sam Gardener, one of the most respected celebrants for destination weddings in Portugal. Live music by Miguel Mendes added emotion and charm, creating an unforgettable atmosphere.

Portraits
After the ceremony, the couple explored the palace grounds for their portraits. Monserrate’s gardens, archways, staircases, and exotic landscaping make it one of the best places in Portugal for wedding photography, and Sydney and Noah were glowing in every frame.

A Relaxed and Elegant Wedding Reception at Solar do Magoito
The celebration continued back at Solar do Magoito, where the couple hosted a relaxed, intimate reception with their closest family. For couples planning a villa wedding in Portugal, this setting is ideal — peaceful, private, and effortlessly beautiful.
Their private chef, Justin Jennings, prepared a personalised and curated menu for the evening, focusing on fresh, seasonal Portuguese ingredients.
As the sun set over Magoito, the couple enjoyed a beautiful evening surrounded by family, incredible food, music, and the unforgettable atmosphere of the Portuguese coast.

A Perfect Destination Wedding in Portugal
Sydney and Noah’s wedding was the perfect blend of meaningful moments, stunning landscapes, historic architecture, and intimate family energy. From the peaceful morning in their villa to the magical ceremony at Monserrate Palace and the warm reception back at Solar do Magoito, every detail came together beautifully.
If you’re planning a destination wedding in Sintra, Lisbon, or anywhere in Portugal, we would love to help bring your dream day to life.
