We first met Joanna & Robert when they enquired with us online for their wedding photography. It was only on the morning of the wedding that we had the pleasure of meeting this couple in the flesh. Joanna was strolling around the beautiful Killruddery gardens when we arrived that morning. She greeted us with a big hug and it was like being reconnected with an old friend. Her warmth & nature were a pleasure to be around on the day and it definitely shone through in her wedding photos. Karina stayed with Joanna in Killruddery for the morning and Rachel travelled to Robert's house which was only 5 minutes away to capture the boys in action.

The ceremony itself was a beautiful mixture of Jewish and Celtic tradition. Roberts friend Lydia performed a beautiful Celtic tradition of bringing in the four directions followed by a hand fasting ceremony. The ceremony was performed under a Jewish chuppah and Robert performed the traditional breaking of the glass.

Joanna and Robert's love for each other was very strong and their day was surrounded in a beautiful hazy romance which was reflected in the stunning weather. They had a preference for relaxed and natural couple photographs so we took a 20 minute stroll around Killruddery House & Gardens once the guests had been called for dinner.  They then made their way to the dinning room which was beautifully decorated with exquisite attention to detail.

The evening continued mirroring the ease of the morning with heartfelt speeches, the Jewish horah dance and lots of hugging. We are very lucky to have the opportunity to meet and photograph lots of fascinating people on a regular basis. As wedding photographers we are honoured to be allowed inside the homes and hearts of our couples. We strive to capture the true essence of a wedding day and to deliver natural elegant and romantic wedding photographs to our clients. We would like to thank Joanna & Robert for allowing us to witness and capture their heartfelt ceremony and memorable day. A big thank you to Killruddery House & Gardens for their perfect hospitality x

Kind words from

Joanna & Robert

“Thank you so much! We finally had a chance to sit down and look at the pictures this weekend and now the blog today... All so lovely and beautiful. You ladies are the best. We absolutely loved meeting you both and have remarked over the past two months about how it felt as if we had life long friends photographing the wedding. Thank you for everything. We will be sending everyone your way!!”
